A Few Charities We Support

Ohio Troopers Coalition

Over the course of time Ohio’s State Highway Patrol Troopers grew to recognize that no organization then available shared or cared about the same issues as did troopers. They felt the need to establish an organization to address those concerns. Thus the Ohio Troopers Coalition (OTC) was established in 1984 to assist in promoting the image of troopers across the state.

The Coalition gave the troopers a fraternal link to the National Troopers Coalition and to road troopers across the country. The Coalition became a vehicle, by which income could be generated through public fundraising. This income permitted the troopers to conduct their programs and educate the public, the legislature and the media about their needs and concerns. The Coalition quickly became the voice of the troopers, the benefactor of their families, and the supporters of their families during times of need. The Coalition with its 3,000 plus members has matured over the years and now maintains the Ohio Trooper Organization’s offices and conducts the business affairs for the troopers as well as conducting educational and public relations projects across the state. The OTC maintains nine lodges across the state giving troopers a grassroots organization that elects the statewide officers, sets the direction of the organization, and elects the delegates to the annual conference.

South Carolina Fraternal Order of Police

The South Carolina Fraternal Order of Police State Lodge was formed in 1977. Since then, the FOP has supported and represented law enforcement officers across the state.

The South Carolina State FOP is the voice of those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our communities. They are committed to improving the working conditions of law enforcement officers and the safety of those they serve through education, legislation, information, community involvement, and employee representation. The SCFOP, with 4200 members and 19 lodges serving the 46 counties, helps provide financial assistance to the families of officers that have been injured or killed in the line of duty. They also provide much needed law enforcement training seminars.

The West Virginia State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police

The West Virginia State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police was founded in 1926 and has now grown to over 2,500 members statewide. The purpose of the organization is to help improve the working conditions of law enforcement officers and the safety of those they serve through education, legislation, information, community involvement, and employee representation. No one knows the dangers and the difficulties faced by today’s police officers better than another officer, and no one knows police officers better than the FOP.

We sponsor charities in West Virginia such as Easter Seals, Special Olympics, Cops & Kids, and Faith & Blue weekends. Furthermore, we support The National Law Enforcement Memorial and pay death benefits to our deceased members. Donations we receive allow us to continue to honor those fallen officers who made the ultimate sacrifice.
